Off-line dictionary and word prediction is amazing feature of this app

This is the best translator I have found, but it needs a delete button you needs to be able to print and sort vocabulary words. It also needs a spellcheck otherwise and that its a great app

I got this in hope of having a book I bought translated from Japanese to English. When will Japanese be a recognized language?

Am in Italy right now using the offline version of this app. I was able to ask my taxi driver to take me to the railway station, translate a notice on the street and tell my gondolier he was doing a fantastic job, making him smile. This app is very easy to use, translates from English to Italian and the other way round and has come up with all the words Ive needed. This app has really made my vacation in Italy so much nicer. I highly recommend it!!

Great translation app; my respect to the developers. In fact, I have practically switched from using Google Translate in favor of Yandex. Having said this, I would love to be able to synchronize the bookmarked favorites across all my devices via the iCloud. It would become truly an essential app, in learning a foreign language.

App works great. Best of all you can download so it works off line if necessary!

I like this app very much, specially the fact there is audio for Hebrew. I tried both Google and Microsoft translators and they dont have it. Would be very cool if Yandex adds Spanish-Hebrew, or English-Hebrew as an offline download. ~thanks!

Im in the process of learning Czech and this is a really helpful translation app. Ive tried Google Translate in the past but it really struggles with Slavic languages it seems, as well as having a large number of erroneous translations (English input: "She is fast"; Czech output: "She is very simple"). Yandex however does a great job and does it with a good degree of style. There are also a lot of nice touches like being able to swipe to delete or rewind a translation. Its lost a point as it does need a bit of handholding with diacritics, struggling when your es are not ěs and your is are not ís but overall this is a very easy to recommend app.

I like everything but I would like to suggest adding keyboard and widget.

This app is a great translator and very useful, however since the last update it seems to be taking a really long time to load the translations (Russian-English or English-Russian)

Works okay (online) for translation of Japanese web pages to English using Safari share button - which was what I got it for. But the quality of the translation is very poor - it gives you a general idea of the meaning, nothing more. Its worse than Google translate (yeah - its that bad) - seems to translate kanji by kanji, not whole words. And it doesnt work on some tabs and headers or any secure websites. Apple Watch translation is poor and slow (e.g. "Good afternoon" is translated as "良い午後). No speech or photo recognition for Japanese. No offline Japanese mode (not that I need it as I live in Japan, but could be useful for tourists who have limited internet access).
